Family first, cooking always, and cracking a cold one after exploring outside

Josh Bartlett joined the KPS3 team in 2022 as an account coordinator.

Josh was first introduced to KPS3 at the 2022 Addy Awards—he was drawn to the agency for our dedication to research-based decision-making (it speaks to his love of politics). Josh’s role at KPS3 will be largely focused on managing projects, ensuring strong relations with clients, and supporting the various teams’ workflows. He’s most excited about expanding his knowledge in a fast-paced environment like ours because of the variety of people he can learn from and grow with.

Originally from Orange County, California, Josh discovered a love for graphic design and digital arts from his mentor at Trabuco Hills High School, Tracy Fanelli. Never losing sight of this passion, Josh headed to the University of Nevada, Reno to attend the Reynolds School of Journalism to apply his graphic design experience to both PR and advertising. His final year of college is what really ignited a deep appreciation for how design paired with research and strategy can truly complement each other—the National Student Advertising Competition tends to spark that desire in all who participate in it!

During his time at UNR, he was also involved in Nevada Wins PAC, designing the majority of print and digital material based on the data gathered from the electioneering team (his profound appreciation for design, research, and data is a strong theme in this one’s life!). In fact, all of Josh’s professional experience throughout college (aside from being a delivery driver for Jimmy Johns) centers around content creation, research, and graphic design for local political organizations.

When Josh isn’t in our offices dazzling us with the beauty of design and data (or juggling us and his clients), he loves to explore the beautiful areas around Reno, snowboard, cook, or crack open a cold one with his friends and family. Family is extremely important to Josh and although his parents and sister live in Southern California, he’s grateful to be close to his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. We’d be doing a disservice if we didn’t mention his leopard gecko named Wahoo. She was his faithful companion for 18 years!
