Christine
Harcinske

Geek girl likely to ramble about things you know nothing about

Christine Harcinske isn't one to sit still. In fact, it's part of the reason she has so many obsessions: anime, design (especially UX), lifting heavy things, traveling, her car (a manual 2010 Chevy Camaro 2SS), and learning. While she enjoys digging into just about anything, history and the mechanics of things top the list. So much so that if budget wasn’t an issue, she’d probably spend most of her time learning how to restore an old car with fins (any ‘59 Cadillac Eldorado, ‘59 Impala, or ‘57 Coronet Lancer will do).

Christine started tinkering with design and websites early into her high school career, not knowing it would be a passion she would follow for a lifetime. She originally wanted to study animation, but when Disney discontinued their 2D department, she fell back on her first love: design. Now she gets to tell client stories in a way that truly resonates with their journeys and her own.

After being in the advertising and design industry for 15+ years, many of Christine’s top career achievements stem from her hand in helping her teams expand their creative offerings (and that the work was nationally recognized), mentoring coworkers, and crafting impactful stories for clients.

Her desire to gain a deep understanding of things (and people) lends itself to the storytelling aspect of marketing. Fresh out of high school, Christine went into customer retention for Quickbooks, sparking her love of problem-solving and natural desire to help people realize their business objectives. Since then, Christine has worked with clients like Intuit, Adobe UK, Virgin Mobile, Facebook (for a Katy Perry app might we add), Travel Nevada, and more Destination Management Organizations than we can count.

She possesses a strong background in digital and a passion for the connection between a brand and its user enables her to create extraordinary user experiences—from interactions with digital interfaces to thinking through what scents are being pushed through hotel lobbies or the ease of use of an app.

In 2022, Christine brought her expertise to the KPS3 team as one of our creative directors. Not only are we SO excited to have her aboard because of her experience, but also because her method of starting Slack conversations (out of the blue, with only using GIFs or emojis) meshes perfectly with our company culture.

It’s clear that Christine is dedicated, perseveres, and remains true to herself—things she credits her husband, Tim, for teaching her these skills. Some of their favorite activities are playing outdoors, exploring the world, and enjoying a few slices of bacon along the way.
