Michael Lindsey

Art Director

A creative dude with a positive attitude.

Michael Lindsey joined the KPS3 team in 2022 as an art director bringing with him over a decade of experience.

Focusing on all things design for a variety of clients, he’s most excited about daily collaborations on creative projects and the opportunity to lead and develop campaigns and brands. Kind, funny, creative, and meticulous, Michael is thrilled to hit the ground running.

Originally from Northern California, Oakdale to be exact (picture Varsity Blues and that’s pretty much his hometown), Michael moved to Reno in 2011 and earned his graphic communications and design degree at Truckee Meadows Community College. Some of the highlights of his resume include working as the in-house designer for Truckee Meadows Community College during his time there, and upon graduation, working with various clients as a freelance designer and photographer. In 2016, Michael ventured into the agency world and eventually became a senior creative at Foundry. He is proud of the variety of clientele and challenges he’s faced and overcome throughout the years and it’s made him into the stellar creative professional he is today.

Other shoutouts include two of his logos being featured in the 13th edition of LogoLounge, a bestselling logo design book series, and between 2018-2019, receiving a gold and two silver ADDYs from the American Advertising Federation for his work. He also received a Silver Medallion Award from the National Council of Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR).

When Michael’s not in the office spearheading creative projects for the team, you’ll find him trying out new recipes (he loves to cook, primarily any type of food that has gluten as a vessel—your hotdogs, burgers, burritos, tacos, pizzas) or playing music. He says he’s mediocre at guitar and piano (but that likely means he shreds). His favorite podcast is “Last Podcast on the Left” and he loves horror movies (his house is the “Devil’s Playground” during the entire month of October). If he’s not heads down on one of his hobbies, he’s with his partner in crime, Leah, or their tiny tornado of a chihuahua, Mika.

Fun fact: Before Michael became a designer, he worked in the pizza biz for a decade and could toss and spin dough 5 feet in the air back in the day…but don’t ask him to attempt it now or we may have to scrape some dough off the ceiling.
