A creative sneaker-head who owns more shoes than his wife.
Matt McDowell joined the KPS3 team in 2021 as a production artist, bringing with him a passion for collaboration, innovation, and imaginative thinking.
Matt began his creative profession by first studying art at the University of Nevada, Reno, and has since stretched his creative muscle throughout the community in more ways than one. From running a DJ company with his wife, Katie, to owning his own sign and mural company, and being the store artist at both Whole Foods Market and Trader Joe’s, Matt’s love of art and visual expression is seriously unmatched. In fact, he was voted RN&R Best Visual Artist of Northern Nevada in 2019 because of it!
No stranger to KPS3, Matt has worked on many freelance projects with our very own Jenna Hubert, from chalk art for the Greater Nevada Credit Union to chalk art for the Mask On Move On campaign, and more.
Now an official member of the KPS3 team, Matt’s most excited about collaborating with other artists and creatives in the agency realm while learning new creative mediums and visual forms of expression, as he’s been somewhat of a lone wolf at his previous jobs, holding down the creative department solo.
When Matt’s not heads down making his creative ideas come to life, you can find him disc golfing, hanging out with his awesome golden corgi, Guster, his daughter Adaven, and his equally creative wife, Katie, or, hunting for new movies, music, and his next sneaker purchase (an admitted shoe fiend, Matt has more shoes than his wife, and he’s proud of it!).
