Help Us Celebrate Annie for Earning a Certificate in Principles of Public Relations
Annie Wagner, social media coordinator at KPS3, has successfully completed the Examination for the Certificate in Principles of Public Relations (CPPR).
The CPPR is administered by the Universal Accreditation Board (UAB), which also administers the Examination for Accreditation in Public Relations (APR). According to the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), the CPPR is an entry-level certificate designed to demonstrate a fundamental level of knowledge for graduates entering the public relations profession and related fields.
“We are proud of Annie’s achievements in her young career as a thriving communications and social media professional,” said Sara Robbins, director of social media at KPS3. “Her success in passing the CPPR exam demonstrates her knowledge and skills in the ever-changing and dynamic digital communications industry.”
The examination can only be completed by students six months prior or post graduation who are members of their local Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) chapter. It consists of a rigorous study course and a proctored examination at a Prometric Testing Center.
Wagner is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno and holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a focus on strategic communications and PR. Her love for communications led her to get involved with PRSSA where she served as the vice president of membership for the club. Wagner has been a coordinator at KPS3 since 2021.
