If KPS3 had a Sorting Hat, it wouldn’t have even needed to sit on Molly Ellery’s head. One look, and it’s calling out Hufflepuff. While she’s resourceful (Slytherin) and brave enough to launch a crisis comms strategy at a moment’s notice (Gryffindor), her personality is grounded in loyalty, kindness, and diligence.
That willingness to roll up her sleeves has taken her to some interesting places over the last 10 years in PR, such as:
- Launching Nevada's first whiskey at Frey Ranch Distillery
- Managing media for the National Championship Air Races through its final Reno event and relaunch in Roswell
- Helping shift public opinion for a Las Vegas ER that was facing political pressure due to its unique business model
These highlights and more of her creative PR activations earned her national recognition from PR News and PRSA, including two awards before she turned 30.
Funny enough, PR wasn’t part of Molly’s original plan. She was a political science major headed for law school. PR landed in her lap, and its flexibility just made sense. No two days are the same, and there’s always a new puzzle to solve.
Molly brings that scrappy problem-solving to everything, including morning sprints to get her kids out the door and scrapbooking memories along the way. Off the clock, she’s jamming out to new music or tearing through a book—ideally with coffee in hand. She’s a proud mama of a rambunctious, sports-loving son and sassy pants daughter and has been happily married for over a decade.
