Hayden Clark has worked on editorial teams for some of the biggest studios out there, and every one of them reinforced his belief that technically sound only matters if it also makes people feel something. Give him a brief or a folder of raw footage, and he’ll shape the story around the emotion he wants to leave an audience with.
After earning his MFA at Chapman University, Hayden dove into the trailer world, supporting theatrical campaigns for studios like A24, Marvel, and Amazon. A proud achievement is leading post-production on the short film WIRED, which was named a finalist for the Student Academy Awards—the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ program for emerging filmmakers—and took home a Gold Medal at the Independent Shorts Awards.
But Hayden felt the itch to make an impact closer to home. To collaborate with creative teams on work that reaches people. That’s what drew him to KPS3.
Off the clock, he’s happiest in the slow moments of everyday life. Burying his nose in classic literature or poetry at a used bookstore. Enjoying a record by The Sundays. Rewatching anime episodes alongside his rescued British shorthair, Watson.
