Sarah Polito

VP of Client Strategy

A driven, marketing enthusiast, strategic planner, and leadership junkie who loves learning, traveling, and animals (especially her two pups).

Sarah rejoined the KPS3 team in 2020 with more than a decade of marketing and communications experience. As the Vice President of Client Strategy, she is a strategic planner and partner for KPS3 clients, working to help them exceed their marketing goals on-budget and on-deadline. Sarah is passionate about building relationships, managing projects, and producing high-quality work for all things marketing-related.

Sarah earned her B.S. in business administration from the University of Nevada in 2006 and her MBA from the same university in 2019. Throughout her career, she’s excelled at a Fortune 100 company, a small startup and everywhere in between. Upon earning her undergraduate degree, Sarah accepted a position at Renown health as the team’s marketing coordinator, where she developed and defined the creative process in the hospital’s work with advertising agencies and played a key role in the production and casting of multiple television spots and photo shoots. From there, Sarah made her way to an advertising agency where she worked as an account executive at the agency and sharpened her already-superior communications skills.

In 2011, Sarah joined the team at Waste Management as a communications specialist, where she developed strategic marketing plans for 30 communities, two landfills and 11 facilities in northern California and Nevada—reaching more than 275,000 customers and achieving measurable success for the nation’s largest environmental solutions provider (you go, Sarah). Recently she worked at Cisco Systems, where she developed and executed marketing and communications to acquire and inform more 28,000 attendees for its largest customer and partner event, Cisco Live.

With over a decade of impressive and diverse marketing experience to her name, she’s earned a number of industry accolades and awards—including a Gold ADDY for her work on a branding campaign for The Legends at Sparks Marina in 2010 and the PRSA Silver Spike award for her work on the rollout of the single-stream recycling campaign in the City of Reno, and most recently a platinum MarCom Award for Cisco Live’s Integrated Marketing Campaign.

You can often find her clearing her head at a Pilates or Peloton class or listening to podcasts about business, marketing, and leadership. She’s fueled by traveling to places near and far with her high school-sweetheart-turned-spouse, going on daily walks with her two adorable dogs and spending time with family and friends.
