A True Crime Junkie and Aficionado of “The Office”
Lizbeth joined the KPS3 team in 2019, bringing with her some seriously impressive strategic communications skills…and an equally impressive repertoire of The Office references. As one of KPS3’s public relations coordinators, Lizbeth spends her days dedicated to keeping up on emerging trends, expertly managing social media accounts for our clients, and supporting our public relations vice president while ensuring every one of our accounts are seen and heard for all of the right reasons.
When she’s not in our offices perfecting pitches, slaying social, producing public relations plans, or performing media outreach, you can find her de-stressing at the gym, listening to the Crime Junkie podcast, or you guessed it, doing just about anything at all while The Office plays on repeat in the background.
Born and raised in Jalisco, Mexico, Lizbeth is an endlessly effective communicator in both Spanish and English. She earned her B.A. in journalism with a minor in Spanish language, culture, and literature from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2019. Before joining KPS3, Lizbeth worked as a copywriting intern for Dolan Auto Group and a communications strategist for IC Media Strategy, where she wrote press releases, produced press kits, and managed multiple clients and their social media platforms.
The recipient of the 2018-2019 American Advertising Federation’s “Outstanding Strategic Communications Student Award,” Lizbeth is a born communicator and storyteller with a refined knack for writing. In 2019, Lizbeth also completed the examination for the Certificate in Principles of Public Relations (CPPR), an exam that can only be achieved by students six months prior, or post-graduation, who are members of their local Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) chapter. It consists of a rigorous study course and a proctored test. She is the seventh student from the University of Nevada, Reno to earn the CPPR.
If she’s not putting pen to paper while expanding the space for Latinx in our community through outreach and guest spots at UNR, sharpening her strategizing skills, or earning yet another certificate to further her already multi-faceted career, chances are she’s on the hunt for the perfect soy chai latte. God knows she deserves it.
