Pet lover and animal advocate, food and wine aficionado, travel junkie and storyteller of all good things
Kimberly Wade joined the KPS3 team in 2020 as an account manager specializing in marketing, strategy, communications, and to ensure that campaigns are on time and on-brand.
An animal welfare guru with over 10 years of experience in nonprofits, she’s passionate about all things creative, the beauty of the ocean, raising awareness for worthy causes, and bringing people, pets, and organizations together. Fun fact: before joining the KPS3 team, she was actually a KPS3 client! Excited to see that there were more people who appreciated attention to detail and a good follow up list, as the tides began to change in her own life, the opportunity presented itself to join the KPS3 team—so she did. And we couldn’t be happier about it.
Kimberly has held such titles as campaign manager for Maddie’s® Pet Project, a statewide pet initiative across Nevada; communications director for Nevada Humane Society; and was also a news producer at KOLO 8 News Now. In her earlier days, she excelled in restaurant management and real estate. Her background, coupled with her strong interest in the media, writing, and theatre, along with her BA in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Central Florida, led to a desire to share what is important and influence others through communication.
Born in Portland, Maine, Kimberly and her family moved to southwest Florida, where her passion for the ocean continued to blossom (growing up on the back of a boat and swimming before you can walk will do that to ya!). She considers palm trees magical and is happiest with her feet in the sand and a glass of rosé in her hand.
Unexpectedly ending up in Reno on vacation, Kimberly met her now-husband, found a job that became a passion, and although she no longer lives oceanside, she gets away as often as she can to her roots. A travel junkie and aspiring blogger, Kimberly travels for work (thanks to WiFi) and play, learning something from every trip and every sip. She loves a good book, baking, and pairing a made-from-scratch meal with a good glass of wine. She continues to support the cause of homeless pets and promote pet adoption while taking on the agency world at KPS3.
Kimberly lives with her husband Brandon and their 5 cats. Yes 5: Newton, Maisey, Saia, Charlie Brown, and Peppermint Pati, who think they are human and work hard on a daily basis to earn their keep by providing endless entertainment to anyone who will accept them.
