A lover of books, the outdoors, and taking her chihuahua on long walks (in her stroller)
Frances Ellenberger joined the KPS3 team in 2021 as one of our designers, bringing with her more than six years of design experience and a passion for illustration and pixel-perfect web and app solutions.
Independent, funny, and highly organized, Frances has a knack for team collaboration, brainstorming, and producing original artwork that makes an impact.
Originally from San Jose, California, Frances earned her bachelor’s degree in art history from the University of California, Santa Cruz, later heading back to Portland Community College to get her associate’s degree in graphic design. A lover of all things visually interesting, Frances combined her passion for art with an industry that allowed her to not just passively understand and admire the work but provided a space where she could actively create it.
Before moving to Reno in 2020, Frances worked at Santa Cruz Seaside Company, and then Work & Co. in Portland as a designer, later making her way to the Biggest Little City to take a position at Beacon Media + Marketing. As an experienced web and graphic designer with a love for flexing her artistic muscles by bringing brands to life across a broad range of industries, she’s never met a marketing problem she wasn’t able to solve with a creative design.
Frances loves to be outside and is very excited to experience all the adventures that Reno has to offer—starting with Lake Tahoe! When she’s not at work, you can usually find her hiking, running, swimming, doing a barre workout, or hanging out with her chihuahua mix, Evie (half mini pinscher, half chihuahua, Evie loves walks but gets tired, so look out for Frances and her sidekick cruising around in their favorite mode of transportation—her stroller!).
