Fong is a proven senior-level leader with a wealth of experience managing media and marketing initiatives. Her extensive understanding of all facets of advertising and marketing communications, keen grasp of market segmentation, comprehensive knowledge of suppliers and vendors throughout the industry and devotion to top-notch results make her a wicked-effective KPS3 team member.
Fong has an eye for a bargain — an important skill for someone who is charged with spending other people’s money. Her media negotiating skills have enabled her clients to make the most of their budgets, making her a master at her craft. Fong has local, regional, statewide and national experience in media planning and buying. Previously, Fong created and implemented successful media campaigns for clients in a broad range of industries throughout the state of Nevada. Highlights include work for the Nevada Commission on Tourism, where she utilized a targeted media mix, effectively reaching the research supported audience, and delivered more than 40 % in added value.
Fong also worked on a recruitment campaign for Washoe Medical Center (Renown), with a goal of using an integrated marketing strategy during a nursing shortage crisis to recruit 150 nurses in 150 days. The end result was 182 nurses recruited in 150 days. She was recognized by the Nevada Women’s Fund in their 2000 “Woman of Achievement” program, and she was on the board of directors of the Northern Nevada Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. She also co-chaired the Relay for Life event in 2007. Currently, Fong is on the board of directors for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Nevada Discovery Museum.
