BRUBS, B-RUBS, BRUBBERS—strategist, cat-wrangler, and master at maintaining client relationships

It wasn’t long before Brittany Rubenau realized she had a knack for strategy. As someone as detail-oriented and self-motivated as her? Helping bring ideas to life for her clients is just something that comes naturally—and when she decided to pivot to account management—her media buying background was a huge asset. Brittany’s collaborative spirit and passion for delivering results-oriented marketing strategies fuels her work and her expert ability to maintain strong client relationships.

A little background: Brittany always knew coming out of the Reynolds School of Journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno that the agency life was for her. She first got her foot in the door at Innerwest Advertising in Reno before joining The Glenn Group as a media coordinator in 2012. She worked her way up to media buyer, planning and executing comprehensive traditional and digital media plans for partners across gaming, healthcare, travel and tourism, and even in the performing arts industries. After four years, she got a taste of the account management side of the agency world, and it was all over from there. It wasn’t long before she learned she loved leading projects—from creative and PR to social media and web development—while communicating with clients and teammates, strategically steering the ship and managing expectations of everyone involved (seriously, it’s a skill).

Speaking of steering, you should definitely talk to Brittany if you need some driving etiquette lessons (Rule 1: If you’re in the left lane, you better be going a hell of a lot faster than the person on your right. Common sense.)

We welcomed Brittany to KPS3 as an account director in 2019, and she was promoted to senior account director in 2023. It shouldn’t come as any kind of surprise that she’s been able to take care of business (she’s in a constant state of get shit done, always), that she consistently works to build upon her already stellar skill set, and stays hungry to help KPS3 and our clients grow in ways we hadn’t ever considered before.

However, don’t let this one order pizza for any kind of event. After an unfortunate experience in 2019, Brittany is no longer allowed to plan pizza lunches at KPS3. But she’ll tell you tacos are better anyway.
