A seasoned communications specialist with a knack for securing powerful, prominent press coverage.
Ayse Caglar joined the KPS3 crew in 2018 as our vice president of client strategy—bringing with her over a decade of impressive marketing and communications experience. When she’s not in our office managing accounts to perfection, you can find her either taking a dip at the pool or skiing the slopes—depending on the season—with her husband and two daughters (both of whom were on skis before they turned 3).
Ayse earned her BA in journalism with a minor in marketing from the University of Nevada in 2005 and her MBA from the same university in 2007. Upon graduation, she accepted a position at Renown Health where she began as a marketing intern and climbed her way up the ranks, earning a promotion to marketing business partner and, later, manager of communications. During her tenure at Renown, Ayse launched, managed and grew BestMEDICINE (Renown Health’s content marketing strategy), managed a successful launch of Renown Lab Services, and earned a PRSA Silver Spike award for creative content marketing strategies on behalf of Renown Health.
Following her time at Renown, Ayse made her way to Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC), where she worked as the company’s corporate communications manager. Within six months, she was promoted to the role of deputy director of corporate communications. In 2017, Ayse was named chief of staff to the president at Sierra Nevada Corporation. During her tenure at SNC, she sharpened her already impeccable communications skills on an international platform—landing two cover story features for SNC President Eren Ozmen in Forbes Turkey (the only person to be featured on the cover twice in the magazine’s history), securing various in-depth feature articles in leading Turkish national newspapers, and interfacing with international media to secure high-profile interviews resulting in prominent press coverage.
With a newfound love of running under her belt, Ayse laced up her sneakers and completed her first 10K in the spring of 2018…followed by her first Reno Tahoe Odyssey, her first half marathon, and then another 10K all by summer (are you exhausted yet?). Goal-driven and detail oriented, you can often find Ayse clearing her head before work with a 5 a.m. track workout or volunteering her time with the Public Relations Society of America. She’s fueled by live music, great food and time spent on the water with her family—whether it’s at Lake Tahoe or the Bosphorus in Istanbul, where she and her husband were married on a yacht (we’re assuming our invitation was lost in the mail).
