A born strategic communicator with a drive to make a difference.
Afton Neufeld joined the KPS3 crew in 2019. As our public relations manager, Afton spends her days crafting engaging ways to tell our clients’ stories—ensuring they’re seen for all of the right reasons. When she’s not putting her killer communication and social media skills to use in our office, you can likely find her roaming around the outdoors, soaking up some fresh mountain air.
Afton earned her B.A. in strategic communications and psychology from the University of Nevada in 2014 and is currently a graduate student on campus working on earning her Master’s in social work (we told you she’s driven to make a difference). Prior to joining KPS3, Afton worked as the marketing and public relations manager for Community Health Alliance Nevada, where she was single-handedly responsible for generating and tracking over $100,000 of earned media for the organization each year.
Afton’s impressive efforts and growth in the public relations field landed her the “Outstanding New Practitioner” title at the PRSA Sierra Nevada 2018 Silver Spike awards. With a resume that includes volunteering as an English teacher in Bangkok, Thailand, there’s no adventure Afton isn’t game for—especially if it involves helping others reach their full potential. A lover of trivia nights and learning new things, her downtime often involves brewing kombucha, home improvement projects, or snuggling up with her dog Daisy while watching Parks and Rec Reruns. (Sounds like the perfect Saturday to us.)
