Stephanie Kruse, president of KPS3, was recently elected as the vice chair of the board of trustees of the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) for 2010-11. She will assume the role of president in 2012. As part of a reorganization at the board level to create a more effective leadership structure with its member/investors, EDAWN has created two groups that will provide key guidance to EDAWN. EDAWN’s board of trustees are elected positions and will serve a two-year term. The group meets monthly providing guidance and oversight to the organization.

New to EDAWN is the Economic Development Council, a top leadership group that meets bi-monthly and will provide vision, strategy and advisement to the EDAWN board of trustees on key issues impacting the region.
