Cortney Webb Takes the Role of New Junior Account Manager

Cortney Webb joins our team as junior account manager. Cortney will be responsible for direct account management as well as supporting senior account managers as they implement integrated marketing communications strategies.

Cortney joined the KPS3 team in March after working in newspapers for three years. She graduated from Reynolds School of Journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno in 2008.

In 2007, Cortney was named chairperson of the Journalism Student Advisory Committee. She led the committee to develop and implement the Reynolds School of Journalism Ethics Statement. Cortney stays involved with the journalism school as a member of the alumni board.

Prior to graduating from UNR, Cortney started interning at the Sparks Tribune where she started the paper's arts and entertainment section. In her time at the Tribune, Cortney won multiple Nevada Press Association awards, including first place awards for entertainment and headline writing.

Also at UNR, Cortney studied German. After graduation, Cortney attended the 2008 Fulbright Berlin Capital Program. While in Berlin, she visited different media outlets in order to learn more about international journalism and global media influence.
