Erik Flippo is a true expert when it comes to creating and developing innovative designs and web solutions. As our newest member to our digital and creative teams, Erik joins us as a Senior Designer and brings with him almost three decades of experience. We are beyond excited to have him on our team with his keen eye for making unique and innovative design solutions for our clients.
A Reno-native, he spent time sharpening his skills throughout California before making his way back home to the beautiful Truckee Meadows. His impressive resume includes a job as chief graphic designer for a large California-based newspaper group and web designer for Telocity, Inc. in Cupertino—a national broadband services provider, which was eventually acquired by DirecTV.
Before joining our team, he worked as a graphic and web designer for The National Judicial College overseeing brand management and visual design. He also served as the president for Peavine Design, Inc. where he managed design for web, print, publication, user interface as well as identity systems, branding and naming. And Erik was the design director for the Nevada Museum of Art with responsibilities that included brand management and oversight of visual design created by and for the Museum.
To top it all off Erik served on the board of directors for the Reno American Advertising Federation, was as an education chair for AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) Reno and has received multiple local and regional American Advertising Federation ADDY Awards.
Impressive – we know! You can learn even more about Erik – including his fondness for collecting Reno-Tahoe memorabilia and unique 1960’s keepsakes here.
