Stephanie Kruse
Stephanie Kruse opened her firm in June 1991 and is the lead communication and marketing strategist and account planner for all of KPS3’s clients. She received her MBA in marketing and organizational strategy from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 1991 and also has a B.A. in journalism/theater and is a retired registered nurse. She brings more than 30 years of marketing, public relations and advertising management experience to her clients. Stephanie’s educational and career experience in marketing, research, strategy and planning, group strategic planning processes and market positioning theory allows her to provide a full range of marketing advice and counsel.
Her work within the field of public relations is extensive and includes the following clients: Nevada Safety Consultation and Training Section, Washoe County District Health, Regional Transportation Commission, Cox Health, REMSA and Care Flight, Saint Mary’s Health Network, Sierra Regional Spine Institute, Northern Nevada Tobacco Coalition, Renown Health, Reno Heart Physicians, Access to Healthcare Network, University of Nevada, Reno, Moana Nursery, Dermody Properties, Red Rock Rendezvous, Reno-Tahoe Blues Fest, and more.
Prior to opening KPS3, Stephanie served as director of marketing for Saint Mary’s Health Network for nine years. Her responsibilities included communications, public relations and outreach, advertising, physician marketing and recruitment, corporate sales and direct contracting for the health system. She was also instrumental in creating the system’s corporate health and wellness division. Prior to that she was director of public relations and advertising for St. Luke’s Hospital in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
Involved in community service across Nevada, Stephanie currently serves on the boards of The Children’s Cabinet, the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN), Western Industrial Nevada (WIN), Access to Healthcare Network and High Sierra Industries. Stephanie is the recipient of many prestigious marketing awards, including: the Chapter Honoree award from the national business Honor Society, Beta Gamma Sigma; numerous Silver Spike Awards and the Golden Spike Award from the northern Nevada chapter of the Public Relations Society of America; “Ad Person of the Year” by the Reno Advertising Club; “Marketer of the Year” by the northern Nevada chapter of the American Marketing Association; “Communicator of the Year” by the northern Nevada chapter of the International Business Communicators; Outstanding Alumni Member of the Leadership Reno program; “Ad Woman of the Year” by the Reno Women in Advertising; and the Professional Achievement Award from the University of Nevada Alumni Association.
