Kevin Jones started his career at KPS3 as a digital designer and rejoined the team in 2013. As a creative and technical director, he works with our teams to oversee all creative and digital work produced by the agency is on strategy and provides a rich user experience.
Prior to joining KPS3, Kevin was a cofounder at Cloudsnap, a startup working to make API integration easier. He was also cofounder of Colorstache, a web application for Evernote, which was a finalist in the Evernote Developer Competition. His digital work has been featured on Mashable, CNET and Lifehacker. He has produced award-winning materials for Desert Research Institute, City of Sparks and Reno-Tahoe International Airport to name a few.
A member of Ad2Reno for more than four years, Kevin played a large role in the nonprofit organization winning first place at the National AAF (American Advertising Federation) Conference in 2008 for work done for the Reno-Sparks Gospel Mission. Kevin was also instrumental in the receipt of Ad2Reno’s first-place award for a public service campaign book developed for Northern Nevada Hopes.
In 2012, Kevin founded Reno Wired, a local Reno event that rebrands a nonprofit in 24 hours. He has spoken at Wordcamp and UNR on subjects relating to WordPress, Drupal and designing for the web and content management systems.
A culinary master-in-training, Kevin finds inspiration in the kitchen and wins many an at-home cook-off (including the Jones Household Quesadilla-off in 2014). He never passes up a good meatball sandwich or a great glass of scotch and gets his daily fuel from Redbull, dirty chais and his Boston Terrier named Sherman.
